border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;|15%||15%&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Big news from me today &#8211; \u00a0the<\/span> <b>new Meadowlark Music Class album<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/meadowlarkmusicclass.bandcamp.com\/album\/spring-raindrops\">finished and available for download<\/a>!<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 I look forward to singing these songs in person with you at all <\/span><b>Meadowlark music classes, and related events <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this spring!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>About the Album<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As I&#8217;ve shared with you, almost two years ago, I embarked on the wild project to <\/span><b>release a new album of family friendly acoustic music every season<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0<\/span><b>Spring Raindrops<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> marks my seventh release in this series. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Along the way, I&#8217;ve learned so much<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0And this project, which began simply as a way of continuing to <\/span><b>provide new music for my in person classes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has become something more. \u00a0Now it\u2019s also become <\/span><b>a true creative outlet for me<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a place for me to connect with the <\/span><b>exuberance and wonder of childhood<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and one of my all around favorite ways to be of service in this life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On each album, I\u2019ve had the same goal &#8211; simply to get a little better as a <\/span><b>songwriter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>engineer, and arranger<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and to provide quality acoustic music for the families I know and love. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I don\u2019t just love the process of <\/span><b>recording the songs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; <\/span><b>the mountain dulcimer. \u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2679 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.noevenable.com\/singingcircles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0073.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"684\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.noevenable.com\/singingcircles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0073.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.noevenable.com\/singingcircles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0073-300x257.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.noevenable.com\/singingcircles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0073-768x657.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Naturally, once I had heard this instrument played by <\/span>Jean Ritchie<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>I had to have one<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026 \u00a0\ud83d\ude09 \u00a0At first I wasn&#8217;t sure how I&#8217;d buy it, but then I remembered <strong>my old electric guitar<\/strong>, once a prime instrument for me, back in my early\u00a0days as a singer songwriter. \u00a0To my delight, the vintage telecaster was easily sold, and the new dulcimer, bought, (though that&#8217;s another story, one I&#8217;ll save for later.) \u00a0What a great feeling to pass on something you&#8217;re no longer using and trade it for something you will use every day.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the wonders of the internet, I\u2019ve been able to start teaching myself to play, and my new mountain dulcimer<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has actually <\/span><b>inspired much of my songwriting for children this spring. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ll also hear my debut on <\/span><b>alto recorder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, playing a beautiful wooden flute that I\u2019ve so rarely gotten to take out since I had children\u2026 You can hear this instrument in the solo section on the song, <\/span><b>Raindrop<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Downloading the Album<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like my earlier releases, this new album is offered at the most flexible price point possible &#8211;
