Buckling her toddler into his car seat.<\/p>\n
Helping a little one find calm.<\/p>\n
Once you give yourself permission, song has a way of spilling into the rest of your life.
And by osmosis, her children take it in. They steep in it. They bathe in it.<\/p>\n

Maybe that’s one of the quiet gifts of singing together. We come because we want to learn songs or spend an evening in warm company. But the songs don’t stay in the circle. They travel home with us.
